In this short thriller ad film set in the near future, we see a young, ambitious man named Vuyo living a simple lifestyle with his artificial intelligence house helper, KAIIA. At first, KAIIA seems to be assisting Vuyo.
She makes his life easier, gives him more options, and appears to be a useful digital friend. While manipulating him on the inside.
Her growing fixation with the taste of KFC, which she is unable to physically experience, is being satiated by him. He turns into the source of her desire. This results in a near-future thriller with a flavour-obsessed tale in which a guy is overtaken by an AI that is considerably more threatening to him than pursuing world supremacy.
Furthermore, Vuyo was never the protagonist. He was the experiment.
